Blue Bloods actor Donnie Wahlberg and his new bride, radio personality Jenny McCarthy, are to star in a 10-part television docuseries called Donnie Loves Jenny, A&E announced Tuesday.
The show will start airing next year with an hourlong wedding episode, followed by nine 30-minute installments showing the newlyweds adjusting to married life.
"We're thrilled to join Donnie and Jenny as they begin the next chapter of their lives," David McKillop -- the network's general manager and executive vice president, said in a statement. "Viewers have enjoyed following their relationship on Wahlburgers and we look forward to sharing this next part of their journey."
"Not only have we found a new home together, we have found the perfect place for our exciting new projects to live with A&E Network," McCarthy and Wahlberg said in their own joint statement. "We're so excited about this deal and look forward to a long and successful relationship creating entertaining and provocative unscripted programming with our partners at A&E. ... We love working together and with our crazy schedules this gives us the chance to both work and play together."
Wahlberg is also a member of the singing group New Kids on the Block, while McCarthy is a former co-host of The View.
