Egyptian superstar Hassan Youssef is looking to the future as he waits for right role after his new series was cancelled. Despite achieveing great success in the series “Zohra wa Azwagha al Khamsa” (Zohra and her five husbands), shown over Ramadan 2010, he explained why he has been absent from the TV screens over Ramadan. “My absence over the Ramadan period has made me sad, especially as the character I played ‘Farag Abou Elyosr’ in ‘Zohra wa Azwagha al Khamsa’ was a great success. But the producers knew I had a contract for the series ‘Ahmed Yassin’, so they didn’t ask me to work in any other productions. At the end this series never saw light,” Youssef told Arabstoday. He is enjoying vacationing with his family on the north coast.
