'Hangover' tops DVD sales chart

The raunchy bachelor-party comedy "The Hangover Part II" is the top-selling DVD in the United States, Rentrak reported Thursday. Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD sales chart for the week ending Dec. 25 is "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," followed by "Dolphin Tale" at No. 3, "The Help" at No. 4 and "The Smurfs" at No. 5. Rounding out the top tier are "Kung Fu Panda 2" at No. 6, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II" at No. 7, "Cowboys & Aliens" at No. 8, "Mr. Popper's Penguins" at No. 9 and "Colombiana" at No. 10. The No. 1 DVD rental for the week ended Dec. 24 is "Rise of the Planet of the Apes." "Colombiana" is No. 2, "Cowboys & Aliens" is No. 3, "The Help" is No. 4, "The Hangover Part II" is No. 5, "Kung Fu Panda 2" is No. 6, "Mr. Popper's Penguins" is No. 7, "Warrior" is No. 8, "Super 8" is No. 9 and "Friends with Benefits" is No. 10.
