Actor George Eads is reportedly leaving CBS' police drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation after 14 seasons on the show
According to TV Guide, the 47-year-old actor will exit the series after the end of the current season. His departure was described as "amicable" and his character's retreat will reportedly "be connected to the resolution of the Gig Harbor Killer case."
Eads has played crime scene investigator Nick Stokes since the show's pilot aired in 2000 and has appeared is the vast majority of the show's episodes. He was supposed to be the only original cast member left on the show after Paul Guilfoyle announced his departure from the show in March.
The details of Nick Stokes's exit story have not yet been revealed.
