Fox says it has renewed Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Empire and Gotham for additional seasons.
The Andy Samberg-Terry Crews police sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine will return for a third run of episodes in the 2015-16 television year, while dramas Empire and Gotham will both be back for sophomore seasons.
Empire is set in the music industry and stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard. Gotham is a Batman origins story starring David Mazouz, Ben McKenzie, Robin Lord Taylor, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sean Pertwee and Donal Logue.
