Demi Lovato will appear on From Dusk to Dawn: The Series.
The 22-year-old singer will guest star on the season 2 finale of the El Rey horror drama, which features Lovato's boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, as Carlos Madrigal.
The pop star shared photos of herself on set with Valderrama and series creator Robert Rodriguez, writing, "Me and the boss @rodriguez.... We worked #fromdusktilldawn.... Get it?? Y'all ain't ready."
From Dusk to Dawn: The Series is based on Rodriguez's 1996 film of the same name, and premiered in Mar. 2014. The drama stars D.J. Cotrona and Zane Holtz as brothers Seth and Richie Gecko, who are wanted by police after committing a bank robbery.
From Dusk to Dawn: The Series follows Seth, Richie and the Fuller family (Robert Patrick, Madison Davenport and Brandon Soo Hoo) as they encounter vampires in Mexico. The series will return for a second season Aug. 25.
Lovato started acting on PBS series Barney & Friends, and later appeared in Disney Channel movie Camp Rock. She went on to star on Disney Channel sitcom Sonny with a Chance, and portrayed Dani on season 5 of Fox musical drama Glee.
