BBC America says it has ordered a second season of its first original scripted series "Copper." Set in 19th century New York, the crime drama is produced by Tom Fontana and Barry Levinson, and stars Tom Weston-Jones and Kevin Ryan. "Copperheads, your prayers have been answered. We're thrilled to announce that 'Copper' is returning in 2013 for an all-new season," a message on the show's website said Thursday. "In 1864, Detective Kevin Corcoran [Weston-Jones] was New York City's finest... but what will 1865 hold for your favorite Five Points detective?"
