Christina Aguilera said she decided to step down from NBC's "The Voice" so she could rest up and refocus her energies. In an interview with Parade magazine, Aguilera said she got along great with her fellow "Voice" coaches and would likely return to the show at some point, but needed a break. "In order to be great coaches, we have to create great music and be current artists," Aguilera said. "I needed a break to be out there doing what I love. It only makes me fresh for when I return." Aguilera said she considers her new album "Lotus" -- to be released Nov. 13 -- a "rebirth." "I've been through a lot since my last album: being on The Voice and going through a divorce," she said. "Lotus reflects the personal pain, but more than that, the personal triumph."
