Egyptian star Adel Emam is waiting for his son, director Ramy Emam, to finish editing the first episodes of the series "Ferqet Nagy Atalla" (Nagy Atalla’s Squad) to be broadcast during Ramadan. There are still two days of shooting left to finish all the scenes, said Emam. The veteran comedian told Arabstoday in an exclusive interview: “These days I stay home, waiting for the editing where Ramy is doubling his efforts, I don’t even get to see him much these days which makes me optimistic about the show...it will prove to everyone that Ramy Emam has a unique directing talent, regardless of him being my son.” He added: “I’m very happy about the responses to the promo, especially one saying ‘Egypt is heading towards a psychological war’, so I asked them to watch the series in order to get the point.” "Ferqet Nagy Atalla" stars Adel Emam, Ahmed El Saadany, Nedal El Shafei, Amr Ramzy and Mohamed Adel Emam. It is written by Youssef Maati and directed by Ramy Emam.
