ABC's "The Assets" had the smallest drama premiere in Big Four network history and was canceled after two episodes, the network said. The CIA drama debuted Jan. 2 with a 0.7 rating among adults 18 to 49, the Hollywood Reporter said Friday. The second week it fell to a 0.6 rating. An ABC representative said the series is scheduled to be replaced by re-runs of "Shark Tank" during its time slot for three weeks starting Thursday. "Scandals" was based on the book "Circle of Treason: A CIA Account of Traitor Aldrich Ames and the Men He Betrayed" and was produced by Morgan Hertzan, Rudy Bednar and Andrew Chapman.
