Bahraini participants in the 26th edition of the Qatar International Arabian Horse Beauty Show have achieved superb results in the international class of this prestigious competition, winning top places in various categories.
Around 280 horses representing renowned studs from across the GCC took part in the event, and this reflected in the level of the competition witnessed throughout the show.
A’Ali Fareed, owned by Al A’ali Stable, won first place in the Under 2yr-old pony category, while Dliana of Al Nawader Stable finished second in the Under 3yr old filly category. Sa’adoon Al Zubair of Al Shihab Stable accomplished the same feat in the Under 1yr old pony category. Bahrain’s accomplishments continued in the 4-6yr old steed category, as Dajaj of Al Naseem Stud won second place, while Muntaser Al Zubair of Al Naseem Stud achieved the bronze medal.
For his part, Mr Khalid Mubarak, one of the Bahraini horse owners participating in the event, expressed his own and the other Bahraini participants’ gratitude to HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation, for supporting the Arabian horse beauty show sport, which has enabled the Bahraini participants to earn top honours in various events.
"The Arabian horse sports have developed and reached an advanced level, and we are happy to see the fruitful results of Bahraini participants in such major competitions," he said, thanking also the people of Qatar for their warm and generous hospitality.
