The Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities will hold a press conference tomorrow –Tuesday- at 3:30 pm in cooperation with the Media Office of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to announce the initiatives of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of the Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities, for the year 2017 under the slogan # Khalid_humanitarian, at the headquarters of the Federation in Isa Sports City.
The press conference comes under the directive of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, after His Highness approved the humanitarian initiatives to be launched this year, which will serve a large segment of people with disabilities in various fields, especially in the sports sector.
His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa launched his humanitarian initiatives in various sports, cultural and social fields last year, stemming from His Highness’ belief in the capabilities and of people with disabilities and their potential to innovate and participate in the development process.
This reflects His Highness’ keenness to translate the directives of the wise leadership to integrate people with disabilities into society and to involve them to be one of its active elements.
