Volkswagen shares closed 19.82 percent down Tuesday, extending massive losses for a second day after the German auto giant admitted that pollution-cheating devices were fitted on 11 million diesel cars.
The stock ended the day at 106 euros, having lost a total of 35 percent in two trading days and wiping out 25 billion euros in market capitalisation.
