Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah said here on Tuesday that the use of modern technology would contribute to developing work at the Cabinet's General Secretariat.
Sheikh Mohammad made this remark during a ceremony held by the General Secretariat as the Cabinet's Information Center and Decision Support Secretariat was granted the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System standard.
Sheikh Mohammad called on the center's officials to continue exerting effort so as to add new achievements to the country in the future.
For his part, Secretary General of the Cabinet Abdullatif Al-Rawdhan said this accomplishment is a source of pride as the topic of information security management has a special significance at the General Secretariat.
He voiced his confidence that the General Secretariat's employees in different sectors would do an integrative work aiming at serving the country.
