Egyptian tour guide Amani Huessin said that the tourism industry witnessed a new kind of tourism during the latest years called hot sand tourism, saying that the major objective of this tourism is is the treatment of rheumatic diseases.
She added, in a statement to “Al Maghrib Today”, that this tourism has spread in the East Asian countries in Thailand and China. This type of tourism has been transferred to a number of Arab countries including Egypt, Morocco, Algeria and Libya.
She added that this tourism is increasingly witnessed in the winter, especially since there is a group of Arab countries, especially the role of the Gulf benefited from the desert to perform their own competitions such as camel competitions and Arab falcon competitions, and these competitions become the focus of the world because it is new and innovative.
The Egyptian tour guide added that the sand became one of the major factors that attract tourists to a large number of countries, especially in the Arab countries, saying that a number of Arab countries managed to use the sand to attract a range of tourists from all over the world.
She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that a number of Arab countries, including Bahrain, organized competitions to attract the tourists who love races. She added that the tourists turned intensively to visit these countries
