Syrian singer Mayada Al Henawy said that the rumors circulated recently over her illness came to assassinate her morally, saying, "It is not the first time for those people to take such approach with me. They did the same tens of times as I refused to trade with my country and people."
She added, in a statement to "Arabs Today", that she enjoys good health thanks to God and lover people, adding, "I say to haters the life is a gift from God who only controls our destiny, while your hatred will not achieve your objectives."
"I will resume singing to the last gasp. My voice will not be controlled by anyone despite pressure and rumors. I know how to overcome the challenges." she added.
