Iraqi singer Shatha Hassoun expressed her pleasure for performing Umrah in Saudi Arabia during the current holy month of fasting of Ramadan, saying that she felt satisfaction for performing the religious ritual and visiting the holy places in Saudi Arabia.
She revealed that she does not perform any artistic activities during Ramadan, as she is keen to perform her religious rituals, saying that she refused a large number of offers, as they were less quality. She expressed her keenness to choose her works carefully upon the standards of quality and difference, saying that her new clip will be broadcast in the near future.
She expressed her resentment over the terrorist attack that hit the Iraqi capital of Baghdad during the recent days, saying that the attack targeted the fasting people. She blamed the terrorists for deepening the wounds of her country, saying that the terrorists target the innocent people with the explosive devices.
