The Lebanese singer Maya Diab revealed that she did not mean to offend the Syrian people and the displaced in Lebanon after the tweet she wrote on her Twitter page, pointing out that the attack on the Lebanese army was great and she found the time to express her loyalty to him.
In an exclusive interview with Al Maghrib Today , Diab added that all the Lebanese wrote and denounced the expressions of insult from some people. "I certainly sympathize with the displaced in their tragedy, but at the same time I was not involved in the sedition that some wanted to ignite between the two peoples," she stated.
Diab expressed her anger from some who wanted to change her words, praising the efforts of the Lebanese Army in protecting the security of the country.
