Egyptian high-profile actor Hussein Fahmy revealed that Cairo Film Festival needs more financial sources during the coming period, praising the step taken by DMC satellite channel to make partnership with the festival. He added that he is optimistic of the current round of the festival despite the absence of Egyptian films.
He added that he decided to participate in the refereeing committee in the framework of the festival to express his support to one of the most important events not only in Egypt but also in the whole world.
He expressed his pleasure for participating with Lebanese actress Solaf Fawakherji in the new drama show “Hotline”, saying that she enjoys a high-profile history and great career since the beginning of her work as an actress. He added that the new show discusses a number of Arab issues.
