Claims of Egyptian producer Mohamed Al Sobky that he paid over two million EGP to Lebanese actress Haifa Wahby in return for her participation in a new film titled “One Moment” have been refuted by the actress who confirmed that she returned the money. She said that he paid 400 thousand EGP.
Sources revealed that Lebanese actress Haifa Wahby clashed with Egyptian cinema producer Mohamed Al Sobki due to her refusal to resume filming her role in a film that was supposed to be presented during the latest season of Eid Al Fitr. They added that she refused to resume the filming of her role, as she was preoccupied in filming her role in “Al Herbaya” TV drama show.
She wrote, in her Twitter account, “I decided not to participate in the new film ‘One Moment’ due to the bad dealing of the producing company. I apologize for the staff, aspiring to meet with all of them in coming works.
