Lebanese Director Simon Asmar has not agreed with any TV channel to present a new program to discover the talents, saying that he goes on a break after years of tender. He added, “I have not decided to retire, while I need a break after the TV works I presented and people were talking about them for years.”
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, “I could return to TV works if I found the suitable idea and production in addition to the other factors that should be provided to present outstanding works.”
Simon Asmar was known as “stars maker”, as he was the first to launch a program, entitled “Arts Studio”, to discover the new talents who became the Arab superstars during the current period, including Nawal Al Zoghbi, Ragheb Allama, Assy Al Helami, Majda Al romi, and Najwa Karam in addition to others.
