Egyptian dancer Dina said that she never intends to retire from dancing even if Islamist governments tried to prevent her. "Salafis constitute a danger for artists and Egyptians as a whole," said the star. Dina added that dancing was her only profession and she knew nothing else. The dancer said that she did not intend to retire unless her son asked her to do so, and he "would never ask for that." Regarding the interference of Islamists in art, Dina said: "We do not know what will happen in the coming days. They said that they are not going to interfere in art, however, we are not comfortable with them. It is possible that when they take power, they ban art or impose their conditions, then we will not be able to say anything." Dina is afraid of Salafis saying: "Salafis forbid several things, including tourism, art and democracy and consider artists as disbelievers".
