Syrian actress Mona Wasef revealed that she refused to meet a large number of invitations to attend events in her country and in Lebanon, saying that the organizers of these events want to use her name to achieve personal and political gains at the expense of people.
She praised her role in the new TV drama show “Haiba”, saying that she received a large number of positive reactions to her role in the series currently presented in the Arab satellite channels. She added that she was keen to choose her roles carefully during the recent period, adding that Ramadan always provides opportunity to increase presence in artistic arena.
