Egyptian actress Dina Fouad revealed the reason behind her participation in two drama works during the coming season of Ramadan, including “Al Halal” and “President’s Shadow”. She added that the two roles are fully different from each other.
She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that she performs a role of a girl living in a poor district during “Al Halal” TV drama show, saying that she strongly loves such role because of their difference from her real personality, while she perform a different role in the framework of the other series.
She revealed that she has not participated in any works during the recent period as she was not qualified for participation in any drama or cinema works for personal reasons. She added that she received a large number of offers, while she refused all of them.
She denied that her absence negatively affected her career, saying that there are a large number of actors who prefer not to participate in any works for years, as they do not find the suitable roles. She expressed her aspiration that her coming works meet the aspirations of her fans in all over the Arab world.
She praised her relations with all her colleagues participating in the two drama shows, saying that the current harmony between the working staff leave positive effects in the work scheduled to be presented during the coming Ramadan.
She added, “I am not born today, but I work in this career since years. And what I reject is the vulgarity in any form, and the arrogance and disregard of people's minds, and I love to do valuable works of art.”
