The animated adventure "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" will have its world premiere at France's Cannes Film Festival in May, The Hollywood Reporter said. The Paramount and DreamWorks Animation film is the first major studio feature to be scheduled as part of the Cannes lineup. An official announcement about the screening is expected soon, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said Thursday. "Madagascar 3," which hits U.S. theaters June 8, takes its cartoon cast of New York zoo animals to Monte Carlo, London, Rome and the Swiss Alps. Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith and David Schwimmer once again lend their voices to the characters of Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Gloria the hippo and Melman the giraffe. New to the vocal ensemble are Frances McDormand, Bryan Cranston, Martin Short and Jessica Chastain.
