Spike TV fans made clear what they want at the Guys' Choice Awards, where Mila Kunis and Jennifer Aniston take home the top non-film-related prizes It may have been the Guys' Choice Awards, but it seems that Sean Penn certainly had no say in the matter when it came to facing off with his recent ex, red-headed actress Scarlett Johansson. The pair, who are reported to have split after getting together in February, had to do some careful red carpet planning after arriving separately at the Spike TV awards event on Saturday night in Los Angeles — but luckily for them, most eyes were on the dazzling bevy of actresses who received the awards in categories such as Holy Grail of Hot and the Decade of Hotness Award. Johansson avoided any talk of her 50-year-old former boyfriend on the red carpet, choosing only to discuss her latest role. "I just flew in from New Mexico, where I've been shooting The Avengers," she told JustJared.com. "A bunch of the cast is here tonight, but I'm here to support the troops. Chris Evans and I are presenting. We're right in the middle of scenes and figuring a lot of stuff out. I've been training a lot and doing all sorts of exercises." Penn chose to skip the press pack and instead arrive later in the evening to accept his award. While he's become known for appearing in heavy hitting dramas in recent years — including his latest, Tree of Life, which he premiered (without Johansson, sparking split rumours) at Cannes last month — Penn was rewarded for a somewhat different kind of role. His 1982 cult classic, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, in which he plays a slacker high school student, was inducted into the Guy Movie Hall of Fame, with Robert De Niro presenting the award to Penn, fellow cast members Judge Reinhold, Forest Whitaker, Robert Romanus, Brian Backer and the film's director Amy Heckerling. De Niro received the honour last year for Goodfellas. But the night wasn't just about awkward encounters — there were a few unusual awards at the US TV network event. Hotly contested Johansson was joined by another recent singleton, Cameron Diaz, who just split from baseball player Alex "A-Rod" Rodriguez. Diaz, in a black suit, recreated her role in the upcoming film Bad Teacher before presenting her The Mask co-star Jim Carrey with the Funniest Motherf****r award. The Holy Grail of Hot Award was hotly contested by Black Swan actress Mila Kunis and The Roommate star Minka Kelly, with Kunis taking the prize in the public-voted award, accepting from her Friends With Benefits co-star Justin Timberlake, in a John Varvatos leather jacket. Woman of the moment Rosie Huntington-Whiteley — a Victoria's Secret model and bearer of the dubious honour of replacing Megan Fox in the Transformers franchise — won the Our New Girlfriend award, beating fellow Angel Candice Swanepoel. But try as they might, none of the women could compete with Jennifer Aniston, 42. In a tiny black Azzedine Alaia dress and Manolo Blahnik heels, she was honoured with the Decade of Hotness Award. Her Horrible Bosses co-star Jason Sudeikis presented her with the antler-shaped award, nicknamed the "mantlers". "Jennifer Aniston has the magic combination of Hall of Fame hotness and humour that makes every guy wish she lived next door," said Spike TV in a statement. Scarlett Johansson (in a black-and-white Valentino dress) and Chris Evans. and there were some awards for guys, too Mark Wahlberg kicked off the party early by picking up the award for Best Guy Movie of the Year for The Fighter and Guy of the Year. Perhaps that would be some consolation for missing out on an Oscar for the heavily nominated film. Meanwhile, Rolling Stone Keith Richards took home the Brass Balls Award — enough said. Past Brass Balls winner Harrison Ford came back, to accept the "Most Manticipated Movie" award for Cowboys & Aliens from presenter Jeremy Renner, while Ben Affleck, flanked by soldiers, received the Troops Choice award, given to the year's top entertainer.
