British pop star Adele says she plans to resume her North American tour in August after she was forced to cancel several dates this month due to laryngitis. The concert series is to support her second album "21," which spent 10 weeks at the top of the U.S. album chart. The new tour will include stops in six additional cities including Las Vegas; Atlantic City, N.J.; Durham, N.C.; Orlando, Fla.; Miami and Spring, Texas, Columbia Records said in a news release Thursday. The first round of rescheduled dates kicks off Aug. 9 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and is to run through Aug. 24 in St. Paul, Minn. The second round is to begin Oct. 7 in Atlantic City and will wrap up Oct. 21 in Grand Prairie, Texas.
